This community works best when people know who they’re talking to.
You don’t need a perfect intro — just be real.
What should we call you?
(Name, nickname, or handle)Snow! It makes ugly look pretty. I love being warm inside and watching it fall, but shoveling it sucks balls. I was going to go for sunshine but that was too many letters to type when I log in.
What kind of content do you create?
(Or want to create)Examples: long-form YouTube, Shorts, livestreams, podcasts, faceless channels, editing, commentary, etc.
I'm a viewer first, so not currently creating videos but want to work towards a channel soon. I’m a bit undecided on what niche i want to have a stab at. Definitely not gaming or fails compilations. They are tough to get traction and have a ton of competition. Thinking about it I won’t be doing videos for the money, it’ll have to be something I live for every day so I’ll have enough determination to stick with it. I’m into computer music but suffer from bad migraines so can’t listen to sounds for very long because it hurts my brain
What are you currently working toward?
(Be honest — growth, consistency, learning, confidence, monetization, enjoyment, etc.)I’m working toward creating this community to be the most supportive, inclusive, useful and friendly YouTube hangout in existence. I want to see people succeed. The toughest part is starting something and keeping at it when things aren’t moving fast enough and I’m not seeing progress. I believe in this forum - this community and I believe it will become the go to for a quality, no stress, easy going, super helpful YouTube resource.
Where are you at in your creator journey?
- ☐ Just starting

- ☐ Uploading inconsistently
- ☐ Consistent but small
- ☐ Growing steadily
- ☐ Established creator
I'm hoping to learn from others and start experimenting with a channel. Sometimes it's best to just get your hands dirty and go for it. I don’t really have a good “presenter” type of personality so I might go for the caption/text subtitles route instead. Personally I find videos without a narrator more enjoyable to watch as most of the ones I’ve seen seem forced. The narrator is clearly reading a script and it’s just unnatural. So I guess I’m very much a beginner in terms of a video content creator. I’ve been doing website type content for years though. I’ve nailed that, so maybe it’s time to expand to the Tube.
What do you hope to get from this community?
Examples: feedback, accountability, motivation, peers, discovery, learning, balance.Discovery, motivation and inspiration. I find helping others is therapeutic and love to see others succeed when they've been given a boost. So yeah, I want to get the satisfaction of knowing what I founded has helped people move up the ranks and do better.
What can you offer others here?
(Feedback, experience, encouragement, technical skills, honesty, humor — anything)A honest viewer-orientated review of your videos, thumbnails, channels or anything else YouTube related. I can help think of content ideas, research gear needed to create YouTube videos and connect you to like minded people that share the same goals. Networking is often the key to success and this community can help you with just that. Actually, I can offer anyone that wants to be here a platform to connect.
