You've seen countless video thumbnails with some guy/girl, their mouth wide open, eyes popping out and some attention grabbing colors behind them.

Maybe they're starting to do the opposite of what they're intended to do - NOT getting clicks? I think people are becoming numb to the click bait, at least I am. It's cringe worthy and makes me feel like the actual video content won't be very good if they have to use these "tricks" to make a person click through.

Not a fan personally.

How about you?

Stupid thumbnails with mouths wide open. What is even the point?
Attention seeking and click bait unfortunately 😕.

I’d like to see some thumbnails from small channels but YouTube just shows me channels with a ton of subs and views.

Anyone know how to just find small channels? 🔎

I haven't found a good way to do it but if you use the filters and sort by upload "today" or even "last hour" then you can see all different channels and not those that have huge subsscribers. They shuold have a way to filter by subscriber count. They probably could but they just dont want to.

A lot of these small channels are just so bad though. I know they have to start somewhere but damn there is a lot of crap out there. How do you find small good up and coming channels? YouTube never recommends channels with small subs to me, it's always huge channels.
